Experienced Educator and Dentist Named President of UCDH
Orem, Utah -- Long-time dental educator and experienced dentist named president of Utah's largest dental hygiene college.
The Utah College of Dental Hygiene board of directors appointed Dr. Ken Molen as president of the only private dental hygiene college in Utah. UCDH, which opens in August, will accommodate 48 students.
President Molen began teaching in 1963 in Newport Beach, California. Since then, President Molen has dedicated his life to education. Molen currently serves as president and CEO of Careers Unlimited School of Dental Assisting, a position he has served in since 1997. Prior to his post at Careers Unlimited, Dr. Molen served as Director at another local dental assiting college. President Molen's experience in dental hygiene includes teaching dental hygiene at Weber State University and his practice of dentistry as a general dentist for 29 years.
President Molen received a B.A. in Education from BYU, a Masters in Education from Chapman College and his DDS from Loyola University.
He and his wife Arda have been married for 40 years and have four children. President Molen has appointed veteran educator and dental hygienist Ms. Patricia T. Nunn to serve as dean of the college and director of dental hygiene. UCDH is honored and privileged to announce Dr. Molen's appointment as President of the Utah College of Dental Hygiene.
