WHITE CLINIC LAB COATS: It will be the responsibility of each student to purchase four (4) protective lab coats that can be used during dental hygiene clinic.  These lab coats MUST BE all white and in the following style.

Features/Composition  

* 80/20 Poly/ Cotton Poplin 

* Snap front

* Two lower outside pockets and one chest pocket

* Throat-Guard collar with loop & hook closure

* White polyester knit cuffs

* Center back vent

* Sizes XS – 3XL

Students who are petite will likely need to order the XS size.  This size may still be very large on a person with a petite body size however, any other style(s) of lab coats will not be accepted.  UCDH strongly suggests that you call and speak with the vendors about sizing before you finalize, and place your order.  All lab coats will need to be embroidered with the student’s first name and last initial in the upper left-hand pocket area.  All embroidered names need to conform to the guidelines below:

* A single line of embroidery with your first name and last initial only (i.e. Suzie Q)

* Font style should be "Block" style

* The color of the embroidery must be Royal

* The location of the embroidery must be over the upper left-hand pocket/chest area

* The size of the embroidery must be 40 point (½ inch high).  Sample size is below.
